First Christian Church of Dyer hosts free, quarterly chess tournaments. These are open to all ages and all skill levels. We also have an "introduction to chess" class during the tournaments for those wanting to learn the game. Snacks, drinks, prizes and usually even dinner are all provided at no cost. We also offer more advanced strategy, theory and tactics classes periodically. Look in the "upcoming events" pages to see if anything is planned, otherwise you can request for something to be set up.
